GIVE GOD THE GLORY !

My husband, Presiding Elder Marshall S. Hobbs, Sr., and I appreciate having you visit our Internet web site. We hope that should you ever visit the cities of any of the 30 churches make up the Paul Quinn District of the Northwest Texas Conference, that you will stop in and share with our members the glory of God.

Throughout church history black women have been the backbone of the African Methodist Episcopal Church. Great women of strength and character who have built a legacy of "Ebony Excellence." As we approach the 21st century, we must continue to be "Empowered By Our Past ... As We Focus On Our Future."

We, as black women, must continue to "unleash" our full potential when serving Christ and others. We must develop and use our diverse line of women talents; women of different culture, ages, socio-economic, educational and professional backgrounds and utilizing our talents or resouces for service of the church.

If we are to truly become, "GOD'S NEW PEOPLE FOR A NEW AGE," we must learn to love ourselves and strengthen and uplift each other in global solidarity and sisterly love.

The challenge and responsibility to "discover and uncover" the richness of our heritage, so black women throughout the world will be inspired and empowered for Christ.

God is calling us to be witnesses to the nations ... to be world changers!!! There is ABSOLUTELY NO LIMIT to what we as black Christian women can do if we surrender to Him.

The VICTORY of this ministry depends largely upon each of us having the conviction and tenacity to make God's Vision for us a Spiritual Reality. God.

God's Blessings

Brenda Hobbs
