This Fourth year I am praying that the Spiritual leadership of the Paul Quinn District will once again work harder to make the vision for our District a reality. Our Theme for this year "The faster you except change the less pain and hardship you’ll experience." speaks volumes in advocating my desire for the Paul Quinn District to be a Paramount District, meaning we will not just be a mundane, typical run of the mill district. Even though we have many financial challenges, the same God that has made a way for us in the pass will make a way in our future. The Scripture for our Theme (Rom. 12:1) "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." (KJV) As we gather here in the city of Marlin, Texas to complete the plans for this conference year let us do it together in a spirit of love and accomplishment that will propel us through this year like a well oiled machine. God bless each of you is the prayer of your first family. The words of Sara Altshul speak to our Theme with resonating power: "When you don't accept change, you get stuck and resist the forward momentum that's carrying you to the next phase of your life. The sooner you allow life to carry you along, the better you will feel." Because of Calvary, Rev. Dr. Marshall S. Hobbs, Sr., Presiding Elder Exit
